Leader - This is the head of a Clan. Before they became leader, they were deputy. Their name changes from their Warrior name to a new name now ending in 'star'. Example: Snowstar

Deputy - This is the cat who helps the leader and would take over when/if the leader died. They keep the same name as they had when they were a warrior. Example: Snowflower

Medicine Cat - This cat is closer to StarClan than any of the others (or, at least they should be). Their name is just like a Warrior's name. They take care of the wounded cats and receive prophecies from StarClan. Example: Songwhisker

Elder - Oldest cats in the Clan and ones who are retired. They can range from a warrior too badly wounded to fight, to a Senior Warrior, to an old medicine cat. They usually spend their time gossiping and telling the kits stories about the 'good old days.' xD Their names generally stay the same, unless something happened that the name doesn't fit anymore. Example: Snowflower

Senior Warrior - These cats are the oldest of the Warriors and usually close to the age of joining the Elder's den. They have a regular warrior name as usual. Example: Stumptail

Warrior - A cat who generally fights in the battles for the Clan and hunts for them. He/she may also be a mentor, someone who teaches the apprentices the ways of the  Warrior Code, how to fight and hunt and things like such. Example: Snowflower

Queen - A she-cat currently in the nursery with kits.

Apprentice - A cat older than 6 moons and in training to be a Warrior. Their name will always end in 'paw' until they receive the ceremony that makes them a Warrior or Medicine cat. Example: Snowpaw

Kit - A cat from the age of newborn to 6 moons. You probably know them as kittens. They usually live in the nursery with their mothers if they are Clan cats and their names always end in 'kit'. Example: Snowkit

Kittypet - A 'Twoleg pet', as Clancats call them. They are generally the pampered cats who live in your home and eat the dry food you set out. Some are content with this life, while others seek another. They have no specific name requirements.

Rogue - These cats are thought of as hostile and enemies to the Clan, though if you think about it, they are just cats who wander and choose not to live the life of a Clancat, but they despise Kittypets just as much.

Loner - These cats live by Twolegs, but not with them. They choose not to follow the life of a Clancat, Kittypet or rogue, but rather live their time on Earth however they please, feeding on plump mice and such. They have any kind of name.
